Clinton - SQUEEEEE!!!!

mr_tikistitch and yours truly share a special fondness for our 42nd president. (Peace and prosperity, it is teh kewl.) So, since we're on Rep. Jim McDermott's special Give Me Money email list, we sprang for tix to the McDermott/Clinton fundraising event at Benaroya Hall last night. We'd never seen Ex-Prez in person before, and he was looking fit in a tan suit. (We tend to worry over his health after the surgery.)

Bill advised us to be smart and think. We ♥♥♥♥ Bill. Oh, and Hillary is sooooo running. Every other sentence was "Mah wife sponsored such-and-such bill."

We bought a concert t-shirt. mr_tikistitch got a copy of the constitution, which he proceeded to read through all night, making note of particularly amusing ammendments. We ♥♥♥♥ our hubby-ness.

YOU ARE SOOOO THE LUCKY!!!! =P and yes he does look very good.. lately on tv he looks tired and skinny. It's good to be healthy but not 'old man' healthy if you know what I mean..

Yeah, I've been thinking he looked kinda sick on TV recently. Our seats weren't close, but we weren't far away, and he looked pretty darned good.

Once I was in NYC on a press trip and the Prez motorcade passed through a street while I was shopping there... And I swear to Stitch (you know, Stitch is God to me, so I'll say "I swear to Stitch" from now on) he waved back when I waved at him... Afterwards, I felt a tad silly, like after having a long chat with a character in Dizznyland, but hey, I love Clinton.

One of my coworkers had a cute story like that. She had waited *hours* for him at some campaign event before he was elected the first time. And then when they rushed him through, all she saw was this little forearm and hand waving at them, up above the Secret Service guys. But they were still, OMG we saw his ARM dude!
