You're on jury duty? I'm sorry. I had jury duty a few years ago, for two weeks that overlapped July 4th too (what a coincidence), and got stuck on the most boring case ever regarding a roofing dispute.

Good lord, I can't believe they let a case like that come to a jury trial. What dipsticks!

I *almost* got on a drug trial last time, but during the voir dire, I opined that the war on drugs is hogwash. So much for that.

Heh. My Mom was called up for jury duty for a drunk driving trial a couple years ago, but when she said she was a Chemical Dependency counselor they let her go pretty quickly. ^_~
