We've been looking for this set for a while now. We love movie promo stuffs.

This was a little snackie box you could buy at the movie theater in Japan back when Lilo & Stitch was originally released there.

The box uses images from that poster where all of the other Disney characters are cringing away in terror from the naughty Experiment 626.

These image on the popcorn bucket were used a lot in promoting the movie in Japan.

Don't see them much here.

And this is the little drink cup that came with the set.

I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but one of my instructors designed a movie standee for Lilo and Stitch. He brought one of them into class once. It was the two of them surfing on a wave, and their arms were motorized to move. My jaw was on the floor. Apparently they were only displayed in Canada and some European countries. If I could have snuck that thing away gracefully, I totally would have.

Ha! That is cool!

You've seen that huge inflatable Stitch they had at Disneyland near the premiere right? I wouldn't even need a house any more, I could just live in my Stitch tent!!

Also, PEEWEE yay!

Soo cute! When I walked down to the theater, they had everything set up for Cars and these were gone! So I asked the nice man at the counter and he went downstairs and got me one! Yaaay. They had a really cute pin of Stitch putting his prints on the walk of fame, and one of him in an Easter basket, with a PEEP. Yus! Methinks I will compulsivly buy those later..

Forgot to mention, one item that's kind of been a holy grail is this HUMONGOUS plushie Stitch they evidently used as a theater display in Japan. It's actually been on eBay a couple of times, but bought by a crazy Japanese person for mega-$$$$$$$.

ooooOoOo! That sounds fantastic!

Speaking of ebay, how much did you pick up your bank in the last post for? I found one on ebay for $20, I thought that seemed a little steep though...

I paid *more*, like $27, which I agree, was excessive. But, it's so weird. The original price sticker is still on it, and it says $10.

Ack! That's quite the mark up...I'm gonna wait and hope that they get marked down a little, or maybe the theater will get them eventually :P
