Our first trip to EuroStitchland was rushed, but very pleasant. We were a bit nervous, as several European friends had complained that there was nothing at the park to buy. This was something, at least for Stitch fans, we found to be entirely untrue.

We met [livejournal.com profile] blythou at the park train station, and proceeded into Disney Village. It reminded us somewhat of Universal City Walk--it's a Disney-themed outdoor mall, with a variety of shops and restaurants.

The restaurants even serve margaritas! Viva le france!!

(Stitch, please get out of the sugar bowl!!)

[livejournal.com profile] blythou agrees with our general Philosophy of Shopping, which consists of fervent boughts of retail behavior, interspersed with copious stops for consumption of delightful coffee beverages. Oh, and the food at EuroDisney ain't half bad either, especially compared to the overpriced London meals we'd been consuming.

Disney-themed thong underwear. They also had some very cute nighties. No Stitchies though, but we did find some Stitch boxer shorts for Mr. Tiki.

Coming soon, in German! The little blue guy conquers the world.

Fortunately, our hotel was a direct shot along the Bakerloo line from the Waterloo train station, so we had a fairly convenient time transporting our Stitchie loot back to the hotel.

Hmm. I know I didn't see any Stitch napkins. Which picture are you looking at?

...which photo are you referring to? I can't for the life of me identify anything that looks like a napkin or a trivet.

Oh, it's a little vinyl wallet, that's why it looks kinda shiny.

And the "S&P shakers" are unfortunately just ceramic figurines.

Lots of cheese and wine. And Belgian beer! And chocolate!!

The little Stitchie is one [livejournal.com profile] blythou brought along. I think he belongs to her Blythe.
