A friend of mine was up visiting. She was totally freaked out by my Jennys. And then she picked up one purple-haired doll, and commented, "Well, SHE's kinda pretty." She had just picked up a Jeff doll.
You know they use the Kisara head for one of Licca's boyfriends? He even still has the earring holes--and often, he's wearing earrings.
I love how they're given very generic english names. Like Jeff and Mike. It's hilarious to think of "Jeff" as an exotic name, let alone for a purple haired drag queen doll from Japan's leading fashion doll line :)
I kinda wish Helene still had her Takara website up. It used to drive her slightly crazy that they'd try to come up with French names for the dolls all the time and would inevitably get them totally mangled.
