Dec. 15th, 2004 08:59 amHere's some of the weirder (and should I say, HEAVIER) Lilo & Stitch oddments I picked up in my wanderings in Barcelona. This first was actually manufactured in Spain: puzzles for the Lilo & Stitch movie.

I found this in the back of a little jugetas shop called something like "Las Dalmatias," which I guess is a chain. The bigger chains, like El Corte Ingles, had Disney puzzles, but no Stitch.
Note something weird: only one of the puzzles actually features Stitch.
The back of the puzzle box is fun: it's written in six languages!

Speaking of El Corte Ingles (literally, "the English court," since I guess English royalty liked to shop on their days off), one of the biggest department stores in Spain, here's a couple of Stitch books en espanol we found in their books and media store.

This book, produced by a company with the lovely name of Gaviota, is just a story book for the film. I really wanted to find something Stitchy written in Catalan, but had to be satisfied with plain ol' Spanish.

Oh, good, my dog's found the chainsaw.
Here's another Stitch book, from a company called Beascoa.

It's another movie book, but with an action feature! "Es un movilibro."

Pull the tabs, and you can make Stitch surf!!

Ah, the marvels of superior Spanish engineering!
