Best Action!Stitch EVAR???





We saw this nifty item when we were in Japan, but then FORGOT to get back to the shop to pick it up.



As you can see, from the myriad warnings on the back of the package, this is yet another Action! Stitch toy. The concept: suspend a rope between two points, and Stitch will "glide" between them.



Here's the Stitchie out of the box.



His little backpack holds the battery pack. Flip the switch, and he plays music! Either, "He Mele No Lilo," or a very jazzy version of "Hound Dog." (YES! A Stitch toy that actually plays an Elvis tune!!!)



So far, unfortunatly, we've been unable to figger out exactly how to get him to glide. He's supposed to wiggle his little feet and zoom down the rope. We think we've been using batteries that are too wimpy. But when we get him up and gliding, we will immortalize the results!!

Wow, my brother had a Major Matt Mason toy that was somewhat similiar lo, these many years ago... Of course, I don't think Major Matt Mason wiggled his feet. At least I don't THINK he did. My memory fails me a lot these days.

Aw, that's awfully nice of ya! I'm gonna try a set of non-wimpy batteries first. I think you'd like the jazzy version of "Hound Dog" he plays. But, hey, I was supposed to dredge out that music box to give you a listen to the Mystery Tune, wasn't I? I'll try to dig it out this weekend....
