This is a new set of keychains from Yujin. There's Stitch, plus the Usual Suspects, ie, Miss Bun...



...Mickey....



...Marie, and Sully the Pooh.



But 4 of 5 of the items also have this mysterious bit floating inside. What does it do, Mr. Tikistitch? (Oops, he's still asleep. Shhhh!!!)



And the insert is no help! It's all in Japanese!!!

How silly. For a Japanese company. To not do everything so it's convenient for lazy Americans.

It's a magical warming pouch. Normally these are filled with metal filings that you massage to create an exothermic reaction, but these are MAGICAL. Looks like you push on the metal chip until you hear it pop, and then the liquid will turn white and crystallize (? can't read very clearly) and in 5 seconds it'll start to be warm.

If you want to use it as a cooling pouch, you should put it in the refrigerator (NEVER THE FREEZER) for about two hours. But it has to be in clear liquid form when you do that. If you freeze it, the liquid will expand and it will explode. Do not let your MAGICAL object explode.

Man, WHY ON EARTH do they keep pimping Miss Bunny? Is she really that significant to the Disney Oeuvre? At least Faline had a REAL NAME.

*bows* Once again, I bow and scrape before your mad language skilz.

They're WARMING? I wouldn't have guessed that in a million years!! (My guess was you break the little dealie and they *glow* for a few minutes.) It's probably not evident from my photos, but these things are about an inch square, if that. I mean, not much bigger than a 100 yen coin. Even adorable little Japanese schoolchildren would have a difficult time obtaining adequate warmth.

*squints* It looks like they may, in fact, be reusable by soaking it in hot water for 1 min, towelling dry, and repeating until the crystals vanish and it becomes a clear liquid again.

I think these generate a LOT of heat. I saw a similar object on, um, a Passion Party website.

Yeah, it's the same one. I think she's from Bambi. Someone told me a while back--she's Thumper's girlfriend. For whatever reason, she's wildly popular in Japan.
