At last....Purezza!
Mar. 7th, 2006 09:03 am
Finally received the new Purezza yay!!

First, the gratuitous shot of her shipping carton.

Voilà!!

We likee the fur-trimmed jacket. Unfortunately, her stuffs all fell down to the bottom of the box.

Here's her accessories: a water bottle and a digital camera. If you look really closely, you can see it actually says "Pullip" on the camera.

The certif. Just curious, if this doll is limited to 1,200, what is the normal production number for Pullip dolls? Certainly it can't be that much more than 1,200.

Her card. Collect 'em all!

A CU on her face. The yellow eyebrows are kinda cool. Neat hair color.

Here's another shot so you can see the detailing on her gay cowboy boots. Gay cowboys yay!!

Maybe regular production is like 10,000?

Date: 2006-03-07 09:51 am (UTC)That's pretty high. The most often quoted estimate I've seen is 2,000; my guess is somewhere between 2,000 - 3,000.

Date: 2006-03-07 10:40 am (UTC)Oh and what are 'gay cowboy boots'??
Seriously. You have me worried...
I used to live in WY & UT and have some boots but would not want to be considered gay if I wore them... :P

Date: 2006-03-07 01:45 pm (UTC)AFAIK (and I'm really not the best person to ask about park merch, seeing as I haven't been to a US Dizzney park in over 10 years), most everything you find in WDW or DL is pretty much exclusive to the park. The hard part is figuring out how to escape without promising your firstborn child in payment!
Ya might wanna go to the Laughing Place store (http://laughingplacestore.com/), put in keyword "Stitch," and scroll through the pickings for a preview. I usually love the bobbleheads best, but there's also tons of plushies and pins and suchlike. There was a *ton* of 50th anniversary stuffs featuring our favorite alien as well. You also might venture out to some of the park hotels to see *their* exclusive merch--I know I've gotten a couple of cool items that were from the Polynesian Resort. Oh, and for something silly, try and stop by the pet store in the park--they have odd stuff like Stitch doggie dishes and doggie bandanas and suchlike. And keep a watch at the park concession stands, as they sometimes have drinks you can buy that come with Stitchie straws and the like.

Date: 2006-03-07 04:40 pm (UTC)She's definitely my fave Purezza! Congrats! I think the accessories kinda fly about in the box; I recall someone saying that she couldn't find the camera because it was imbedded in her hair.
I like the gold purse. It's so wonderfully tacky. Couple it with the Brokeback boots and you're set. ^_^

Date: 2006-03-08 06:48 pm (UTC)I think that's everything. Though that's a good idea! New 'accessory surprise pullip!' where you have to hunt through her hair for your stuffies. Ok maybe not.
