Mr. Tiki, who, despite having actually been to Tokyo, still craves a rational explanation, asked us, "Um, so what is it for???"

Well, it's an alarm.

well first of all, my ears hurt now.. and I didn't have it very loud on the speaker.. and second of all.. it's a single girls friend/nightmare I guess.

Maybe that's why Mr Tiki doesn't get it. =P

It's for personal protection. I assume every little school girl has one of these on her person when walking home from school? At least it's cute.

It's made in China, with English packaging, so I'm not sure whether or not it's intended for the Japanese market, but it would sure be useful if you were being annoyed by gropers on the Tokyo subway!

wow i really like your LJ now, you are a big fan of Stitch!

Reminds me once when i went to France Disneyland they sell ears of stitch, there was a japanese buying one and wearing it and I felt its so cute!

At Tokyo Disneyland, everybody wears their Stitch ears around all day. I wore my Stitch earmuffs all day. It was awesome!
