I'm wearing 'em on my head right now!

(Actually, I don't yet own this precious item--I just ganked the piccie from a Japanese auction.)

I wonder what all the writing says. It appears to be English but the image is too small to make anything out. There could be some amusing Engrish in there...

I squinted long and hard at the original photo this afternoon (I squished it down to post here), but was unable to read it. If I worked on a TV cop show, I could've just had some computer guy magically sharpen the image, but I guess I have no choice but to buy the thing to solve the mystery.

heh... That reminds me of when a group of people dedicated to accurately reconstructing (in a computer simulation) the Monza race track as it appeared during the 1967 Italian Grand Prix were staring at blurry photographs of a Molykote billboard trying to figure out what the text on top was.

Any sane person would have had no guess whatsoever, but after having stared enough to figure out writing on other billboards and banners seen in blurry photographs (those darn racing photographers were always focused on the CARS!), we ended up with two very real possibilities... but we just couldn't quite figure out what was really correct. This annoyed us so much that one person actually got in touch with the Molykote company and tracked down the man who was responsible for motorsport advertising for Molykote in Italy during that time period, and he finally provided us with the correct wording!

Perhaps running the larger image through contrast enhancement can help, actually.

Here's the original listing, with the full-sized photo:

Trouble is, if I stare at it too long, I start to feel kinda perverted. ^_^

At least it's not USED. That's big business in Japan... ew.

But yeah, the jpeg compression is much too severe to decipher anything on it.

I was kinda wondering about that too. They have Disney diapers in the USA.
