A post-bday song

What do you do with a drunken Stitchie?
What do you do with a drunken Stitchie?
What do you do with a drunken Stitchie?
Earl-aye in the mornin'.

Have him make friends with the local Sith Lord.
Have him make friends with the local Sith Lord.
Have him make friends with the local Sith Lord.
Earl-aye in the mornin'.

Put him in the shower until he's sober.
Put him in the shower until he's sober.

Put him in the shower until he's sober.
Earl-aye in the mornin'.

Hangin' out with a Jedi Master.
Hangin' out with a Jedi Master.
Hangin' out with a Jedi Master.
Earl-aye in the mornin'.

Let him sleep it off until he's sober.
Let him sleep it off until he's sober.
Let him sleep it off until he's sober.
Earl-aye in the mornin'.

Droolin' on that bounty hunter.
Droolin' on that bounty hunter.
Droolin' on that bounty hunter.
Earl-aye in the mornin'.

Keep him clear of all light fixtures.
Keep him clear of all light fixtures.
Keep him clear of all light fixtures.
Earl-aye in the mornin'.

Date: 2006-01-20 03:48 pm (UTC)I wish I could take trips to Japan like you XD That would save me so much hassle of trying to find the products on auction.

Date: 2006-01-21 10:33 pm (UTC)All that Star Wars stuff reminds me that I should take pictures of these old Star Wars things I've had since the original movie came out -- pre-production art lithographs and an electronic Star Wars battle game. (Not sure in which box the latter is, but the lithos are right here having been dug out and sent to me by my mom recently, waiting now for me to decide where to put 'em.)

Date: 2006-01-22 12:34 pm (UTC)As there are no pictures of the electronic game I have, I couldn't tell you which one of those is that one I have.
Ah, they list store displays too, heh... I don't have any Star Wars store displays but I do have these:

...which is kind of a display. And a humong-o movie banner that I don't have room to display. Would really love to get my hands on that big inflatable Stitchie Dizzney had out when the movie premiered.

Date: 2006-01-23 01:11 pm (UTC)Does she like Lilo & Stitch? Have a look at her Plushie Fashion Show:

(Stitch pics are not at the top, but there are quite a few...)
Unfortunately, she misspelled `ukulele, but we'll forgive her.
Go to just the http://www.armory.com/~keeper/pics/ folder for some more pics I have of various A! and Pinky & The Brain materials. These are really old photos -- about eight or nine? And of course there's this: http://www.california.com/~keeper/ashirt.jpg and this http://www.california.com/~keeper/claypky1.jpg (which my friend Federica Giulietti made) and this very special pic (one of only 20) http://www.california.com/~keeper/skipgrph.jpg and this http://www.california.com/~keeper/pbgraph.jpg and oh yes! I once had the opportunity to "interview" Pinky & The Brain: http://www.california.com/~keeper/pbint.mp3
I don't seem to have my old "shrine.jpg" online which was a picture of a bunch of A! and P&TB stuff on top of my piano where I used to live -- plushies, figurines, etc.
You know a line I wrote actually got written into a P&TB script? It didn't make it to air, though; the line was changed in ADR. The animation still matches my line, though. I had given permission for the writer to use it. During a mundane conversation about something else, he had asked, "Are you pondering what I'm pondering?" and I replied, "I think so, Brain, but she would never leave Mickey." Then he asked if he could use that, and he did! Watch the animation for "You Said a Mouseful" -- the tongue-twister episode. Brain's response is, "I thought we agreed never to discuss that!" I got the original script at least, with my line intact (and several others that were changed, most of which are documented in my LACTOSE files -- http://members.cruzio.com/~keeper/LACTOSE.html ).
And of course, the hat I'm wearing in my icon can be seen on the Lobe in the Freakazoid episode "Virtual Freak". My hat became a running gag when a teenager in New Jersey saw me on the E! News Daily bit about Animaniacs fans from the internet being invited to Warner Bros (the video I posted recently in my LJ http://keeper1st.livejournal.com/40455.html ), and asked, "Who's the guy in the hat? He's really hot." We all thought that was hilarious as all get-out, and figured it must be the hat doing it, 'cause it certainly wasn't me. So my hat became a running gag, and of course the WB folks, who were avid readers and occasional participants on the newsgroup, picked up on it and stuck the hat on the Lobe for no good reason other than he thinks it will make him attractive -- it's not even a plot point, but just a throw-in gag.
Heh, sorry to inundate you so. I got on a roll! Memories...

Date: 2006-01-23 04:09 pm (UTC)I'm sorry I don't remember the You Said a Mouseful ep. Haven't seen P&TB for bazillion years, so I can't wait for the DVD set. My fave bit of theirs is, I think, actually from Animaniacs, where they do a song about the parts of the brain and it's even accurate, "Neocortex, frontal lobe/Brainstem! Brainstem!" (I was taking a Neuroanatomy class at the time.)

Date: 2006-01-23 08:48 pm (UTC)"Brainstem" was quite popular, but written in a sad time. The writer's mother had just had a stroke, and the doctors had given him all sorts of information about how the human brain works and what effect the damages can cause. He wrote "Brainstem" while studying these documents and worrying about his mother.
It almost didn't get made. I'm told that it was rejected at first for being "Yakko's World for the Brain" and shelved for a while, but when he who rejected it (I won't name names in a public place!) went on vacation, it got approved by the assistant producer. It was supposed to be on the "Variety Pack" album also, but they couldn't get the contracts with Moe's agent sorted in time, I'm told. Moe's contract didn't cover him singing on albums yet at that time, apparently.
You do know that, as well as still appearing in a few cartoons today (Catscratch on Nickelodeon being one, which also has Rob "Pinky / Experiment 625" Paulsen and Kevin "Pleakley" McDonald -- and is script edited and voice directed by Pinky & The Brain creator Peter Hastings), Moe is and has been for the past couple decades heard on several channels, several times per day, as Toucan Sam in the Froot Loops commercials? ...and of course, Rob is "Mr Opportunity" in the Honda commercials, but you can probably figure that out because it's his natural voice, which isn't far off from 625.
Oh yeah, and if you saw the P&TB episode "Yes, Always" about the Brain in a voiceover session, then you'll probably be able to follow along with this recording (save for the swearing): http://www.california.com/~keeper/music/orson.mp3 ... Maybe I sent you that link already.
