Yay! New clothes!

If there's one thing that cheers up my dolls, it's looking fabulous.



I just got these outfits yesterday. But I thought I'd wait 'til today to take pictures, hoping that the weather (ie, the light) would improve somewhat. Well, on the way back from Starbucks just now, I got caught in a hailstorm, so that should give you a clue about meterological conditions hereabouts. Sigh. So, never mind the shipping crates, heeeerrre's.....



From left to right, Mirai, a Dollfie Dream; Lycee, and Azone 60 cm doll; and Misha, my "Franken-Pullip."



Mirai is wearing a NOT Chun Li outfit from Volks, which I understand was made especially for the Dollfie Dream body. At any rate, I tried squishing an Azone doll into it, and it was waaaay too tight in the bust. Mirai looks pretty kick ass, I just need to get her some Chun Li type little white stomper boots. Oh, and her purple wig is from Seph.



Lycee is wearing another Volks Dollfie Dream outfit. This one fit. ^_^ She looks like some sort of galactic cop, so I'm wondering if this is meant to be another Cosplay type outfit for a video game Volks didn't want to pay royalties for. She really looks like she need a gun, or some type of weapon, doesn't she?



Misha is pretty much 100% dressed in the newer Azone "punk" clothing line (except for the stockings, which I ripped off from another outfit).



There's another variant of the tee and skirt that's a goth-ish black.

Yup. I think it's partly because Mirai, who has a vinyl Dollfie Dream body, is strung so tight, it's hard for her to stand up straight. She always wants to stick out her butt, or cross her legs. I think your DD body may be looser than mine. I should do a side by side comparison some time.

Hmm. Raven usually sticks out her butt, but I thought she was MOLDED that way. ("I don't stick out my butt--I'm just made that way!") She's strung only thru the head-body-legs, as near as I can tell--I'm pretty sure her arms are attached like standard fashion-doll arms. Once in a while I can fool her into standing, at least for a short time (usually by having her lean on a wine bottle, which looks bad for all kinds of reasons).

I wanna do a side-by-side comparison of Raven and Willow to see the differences between the DD and Obitsu 60cm bodies.

I think the DDs are supposed to look sexy, but to me, they always just look like they gotta pee real bad.

Exactly! I mean, there's arching the back, and then there's... arching the back. It balances the doll badly, which I'm sure is part of why Raven is so difficult to stand up.

Willow, meanwhile, with her nifty magnetic base, stands aloofly nearby. That magnetic base is a great idea...
