So, we realize we are probably the 11,891st person in the Pullip community to post photos of Latte. Nevertheless, Tikistitch feels obligated to put a word in for what we feel is an underappreciated lass.





She definitely has what's arguably the Best Pullip Name Ever. The box turned out pretty, too.



With all her stuffs. The outfit is kinda urban grunge 70s gay cowboy. Like if Joe Buck had a big-headed sister.



We like the detailing on the eyes. Nice facial coloring, as usual. Also, this is the very first Pullip with approximately our own hair color, so there!



Now, you'd think a doll named after a delicious hot beverage would at least come with her own Pullip-branded thermal mug. Instead, she has a rather complicated bag...



...and we thinks this is a hat (though we're too lazy to look it up).

I'm not a Pullip collector (I simply refuse to buy ANOTHER doll of any kind. The Blythes are already crowding my shelves and their stuff seem to pop out everytime I open a closet, drawer, box...) but I have to admit some of them are pretty. And Latte's a great, yummy name, indeed ! Have you ever bought a Coco doll ? I've got the one with the Monchichi plushie and she's cute. Esp. since she wears a devil girl Pullip outfit complete with horns and a pointy tail !

... the complete lack of coffee mug/cup/travelmug just really, really disturbs me on some fundamental level. Almost every doll made nowadays, in any toy line, seems to come with a cup o' joe... but not LATTE? It just... warps my sense of reality. I feel the need to send you one of the 3003948382920 doll coffees I've amassed, but I bet you have a few of your own.

Did I ever share my dream of Latte? I get the grunge thing, but my perfect Latte would have been black bob-with-purple-streaks, nose stud, black outfit and green apron. WITH coffee. And possibly an espresso machine. I'm thinking Rida is going to end up as my barista babe.

I had thought "Latte" was going to depict a coffe bar customer: someone sitting in a cafe sipping a mocha, maybe pecking at her laptop (would've been another kewl accessory) or reading The Stranger (ditto). Though, yeah, I likee your idea of a barista doll--Jenny had one. Just maybe not the green Starbucky apron 'cause Starbucks actually has evil plans to take over the world.

OMG, yes, I need to remember to get my tiki butt to Toys R Us so I can take a look for these. I finally kinda burned out on buying new Doremi stuff since they were producing so much of it in Japan, but I'd like to get a set of the US dollies.
