SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.....
Nov. 25th, 2004 10:56 am....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I've been going through a mail order lull lately. It happens sometimes when you buy most of your stuff from overseas, so you have no money, but also no TOYS to show for it.
Imagine my delight, then, when Mr. Mailman showed up at my doorstep on Thanksgiving morning! I had forgotten they deliver Express mail 24/7.

This is a pretty damn big Stitch statue from Japan. I'm not certain from the translation software, but it might have been limited to Tokyo Disneyland. You can kind of see from the photos why I was worried the ears might break in transit.
You can also see traces of packing squoogies everywhere. Eh.

I've got Sahra here to give you some idea of the scale of the piece--she's a 60 cm doll, which means she's about 2 feet tall.

For whatever reason, the Stitch is completely separate from the base, and there's not really any hints as to how to orient him on the base.

Sahra thinks she knows what to do with the base.
