Interesting. I'm not sure of the origins of this video but it's interesting how they've incorporated things familiar to Americans, like using inch measurements for the noren curtain.
A lot of that is accurate, with a lot of exaggerations... and some outright falsehoods. But they've blended everything in so well it's hard to tell. I mean, the cuddly pandas, well most people would know that can't be true, but how many non-Japanese know what the salt by the entryway is for? (but no, you don't lick it).
=O_o= New fact to me... sushi rice is called "sushi meshi" or "shari" And that really weirds me out... 'cause my name is 'Shari' spelled just like that.
