This is a banner promoting the release of the original Lilo & Stitch movie in 2002.



I like it 'cause it has some other classic Disney characters bunched over to one side, recoiling in horror from our favorite genetic mutant.



My friend Earl was slightly disappointed that this poster shows cute doggie Stitch, as opposed to fierce alien 626 Stitch. My husband was a bit horrified by the size, but admits that this is my "best" L&S collectible so far. Now I just need a place to put it. Maybe hang it from the deck?

I think I remember these ads! Didn't they have a series of TV ads and trailers where classic and modern classic Disney movies were interrupted at key points by Stitch?

If you look carefully, Jasmine looks intrigued rather than repulsed by Stitch. >:D I could be misremembering, but I think the Jasmine/Aladdin version of the trailer had Jasmine being seduced away by Stitch...

Yup! Stitch interrupts Beauty and the Beast's waltz, the Little Mermaid's song, and Aladdin & Jasmin's magic carpet ride. There's supposed to be a little Stitch reference in the extras of th Aladdin DVD too.
