The Disney Store, Shibuya. Teh kewl, eh?

We returned from Kyoto with, er, a few extra bags.

Realize, this is just the little stuff from the Disney store in the Kyoto Takashimaya. Well, the little stuff plus a big, slightly disturbing Stitch puppet.

Tonight, after parking the haul at the ryokan, we decided to get the most from our expiring JR passes, so ran around to the Lost in Translation intersection in Shibuya, and back to the Yamashiroya shop, near Ueno station, for a really big-ass Stitch, plus some sushi. We decided we will need to go back to Ueno multiple times, however, as our new goal is to compare and contrast the all of the rotating belt sushi bars that dot the district. We will share our reviews.

It is now late, and we are tired and cranky. But, we have much Stitch.

It was some kind of claw machine prize, which means whatever you spend winning it. But since claw machines in this country are $1-2 a pop, and *extremely* difficult, it could be really 'spensive.

Holy wow...I don't see how one could get that from a claw machine. Is the claw even big enough to move that huge thing?

Yamashiroya rocks!! The kaitenzushi place inside Ueno Station is my favorite. Kagenami makes a point of taking me there every time I go see her. We stop there on the way back to her place from picking me up at the airport. No matter how badly jet-lagged I am, or how horrible I look, the guys behind the counter are always glad to see us. Or so it seems. :)
