Hiroshima, mon amour

Another slight change of plans, as we took the bullet train down to Hiroshima to see the Peace Park today. We learned the down side to J-trains: our first leg, we mistakenly took seats in the smoking compartment, which soon turned grey with floating carcinogens.

Some unsettling things about the A-bomb memorial, the primary of which, bands our Japanese tourists getting their photos taken, happy & smiling, in front of the A-bomb dome.
