(Actually, Tikistitch has been awake now for approximately 1,473.5 hours, and has nothing much coherent to say, other than we just met a couple of really nice J Star Wars collectors and saw a Star Wars pachinko machine and had sushi at a place where they had the belt going round and round and round and also already got lost in Tokyo about 6 separate times.)

I've already seen a dozen little girls who look just like Schoolgirl Kisara or a Super Dollfie. Someone on the subway last night was wearing my favorite Volks SD shoes.

And you know how you told me Japanese bedrooms have long cords on the overhead lights? (I have some Stitch toys that fasten onto the cord.) Anyways, this room has a light just like that, and I thought of you!

Oh boy! Teeny tiny hotel room and all! Hope you guys are having a blast! Enjoy thet jet lag (that's a joke)! Take a nap the afternoon after you get there and you'll be all set. Have the awesomest time ever, and go rampage through the Volks shops like Godzilla on a tequila bender! :)

I happened to bring along the book Pattern Recognition by William Gibson. His theory is that jet lag is the result of travelling too fast for your soul to keep up, so you spend a day or too awaiting your soul's arrival. Sounds good to me.

Eimei-san has been to Volks, and agrees the Akihabara is the one to go to, so at some point, he'll accompany me. We were so fortunate he met us at the train station last night, else we'd STILL be wandering around trying to find this ryokan!!!!

I brought the laptop expressly so I could download pix. Mr. Tiki has kindly jury-rigged my iMac so we can log in this morning. Now I just need to un-jetlag myself enough to remember to take the camera along!!
