I like pretty things.

Ooo, limited!

She comes with champagne! And a beauty mark! And painted toenails!

Eek! Scary squishy body!!

Did I say.....limited???

And, a puzzling note in Japanese?

"Please, don't set this doll on fire, since she may emit toxic fumes." No, actually, that's probably not what it says.

Oh gosh. Is this your much-awaited dolly?
You are SO lucky to have this doll. I'm trying to keep Pullip purchases to a minimum (to make room for the cupcake! I mean, the BJDs!) but this is tempting.

The note reads:
"A warning:
If the red dress fabric is allowed to rub against the body, there is the possibility that the color will bleed on to the body. Therefore, in order to prevent this from occuring during shipping, we have wrapped a vinyl plastic bag around the body. (The vinyl plastic bag is not part of this product, so we will not exchange this item based on staining of the vinyl bag.)

We ask for your understanding."

It's nice to see that they're paying attention... a lot of Pullip-fans have complained about bodies being stained by clothes and such.

No, THAT dollie is, in fact, sitting at my mailbox right now, where I am unable to retrieve it, due to my husband absconding with my car today, since he needs to go shopping for some kind of heavy cabinet thingie at the fixtures store, which he will no doubt insist on my helping to haul up the stairs, where I will inevitably drop it on my toe.

Stay away from Pullips! Even on sale!!! They are devilishly addictive.

Alas, I already have a Nero Pullip (she was my holy-grail-but-only-if-affordable Pullip). I love her dearly but wish that her head was a smidge smaller so she could share my MSD dolly wigs.

Can't wait to see the other dolly... and good luck with heavy cabinet thingie! We still need to find a nice display cabinet for breakables + toys, plus ideally a corner shelf unit for displaying more toys. toys toys toys.

toys.

Alas, tempted by the Pullip Side. I haven't had much luck putting my Pullip gals in full-sized SD wigs. Too much hair, I think.

Panda came with a similar slip of paper. I assumed it explained the little white mits covering her hands and feet. After all of the outcry over Moon's suit staining her (and I can tell you from just getting mine, it's pretty bad) they've been very careful.

My Moon came with little white gloves under her mittens. But she's got slight stains on her head from wearing the kitty hood. I'd imagine the staining is even worse with these new "squishy" bodies!!

I haven't had much trouble with staining on the new dolls. JP seem to make a point of keeping dark fabrics out of direct contact with the dolls. Most of them come with some form of underwear.
