Weirditude

So, some time ago, this real quiet shy Japanese dude visited Casa de Tikistitch, and paid hommage to the wonderfulness that is Mr. Tiki's collection. We thought nothing of it, until this past weekend, when we visited our buddies TattooShane and his new bride, MyLittleKarlee, and they showed us the guy's record of the visit. Nice pix, but wassup with the blackout bar? Are Star Wars collectors likee pr0n stars now? Here's the index for his travel pictures--he does the little eye-censor dealie with everyone. (For extra bonus lulz, run the pages through your fave translation program.)
Still catching up.....

This is from a fascinating series of pictures taken inside a toy factory in China (or possibly several factories--the captions aren't entirely clear). Ya know, the people who paint lead onto your Barbie dolls? Anyway, some of the captions seem to indicate this proves how well people are treated over there, but it looks slightly hellish to us. Just imagine having to face all those grinning Sponge Bob's every day....brrrrrr......
The nuptials
Oct. 8th, 2007 06:00 pmIn case you're one of those women who spent 5th grade dreaming about what color fresias you'd carry when you one day had your dreamy foofy dress wedding (we doubt there's anyone on our FL who qualifies, but just so), please be aware that tiki has little use for weddings, and in fact, even skipped her own (the tiki's eloped, and then scaped to Barcelona for a quite awesome honemoon). HOWEVER, we spent this past weekend attending a commitment ceremony that was, to our taste, actually not bad at all, and as it concerned two of the adorable-est people we know (who are nice even for Canadians!!!), we had a fairly splendid time.

A fairly cute piccy of the wedding party. TattooShane and MyLittleKarlee are in the middle, along with their "Maid of Honor Guy" and "Best Man Girl."
( cut the cake! )
