As we might have noted before, tiki will be volunteering at Star Wars Celebration IV in LA next month. We just officially faxed in our forms, and, being marginally obsessive-compulsive, were reading the fine print on the Volunteer Information Page when we happened upon this nugget:

Volunteer and Event Team t-shirts must be worn during the work shift, unless you are volunteering in a Star Wars costume that is appropriate for your shift. Volunteer t-shirts cannot be worn off-duty (except for break periods) and must never be worn in bars/nightclubs.

Two killed at University of Washington campus in Seattle

SEATTLE, Washington (AP) -- A man and a woman were shot to death in the University of Washington's architecture building Monday morning in what may have been a murder-suicide, university police said.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire found the two in an office on the fourth floor of Gould Hall, Assistant University Police Chief Ray Wittmier said. He said a weapon was also found in the room.

tiki works just off campus. The architecture building is also off campus, a couple blocks south of where we work. When we were riding the bus into work, at just after nine, we had to stop for no less than three fire engins speeding down 15th. Now we know why.

Not a good reason to make CNN's front page.
