Ironically, I'm debating whether or not to go to the gas station in my t-shirt and boxers or get dressed. I might get dressed, seeing as the pumps are crowded with people trying to get $2.85/gallon gas because refineries in Houston have shut down for the next hurricane.
I'm living a sheltered live. I drive my Civic once or twice a week at most the 6 blocks to our mailbox place. I just about had a heart attack last time I had to fill up the tank--and it only holds 10 gallons! What do people with those monster SUVs do, anyway?
I bought a set of flannel pajamas last week with snowdomes printed all over them!! But I have no plans to wear them in public.
I drive a Civic too, and I can't resist snickering evilly when I pull into a gas station after a departing SUV has left the gas pump registering a sale of $85.00. I'd go nuts if I had to pay that much to fill up the tank.
