Blah, weather's turned all drippy droppy again.
Ever had one of those times when you bought something and forgot about it and then got it and it wasn't what you thought it was going to be back when you remembered that you had bought it?
Anyway, this is one of these times.

This is a new set of plush Sega prizes from Japan. I initially kinda wondered why they were so damn expensive, but, eh, they were Japanese. Then, some months later, a BIIIIIG box arrived on my doorstep.
One of my problems has been accurately conveying the scale of the items I show on this page. It's pretty dark today, but I think you can see what I took as typical little witsy-bitsy Sega mascots (like something to dangle off your backpack) are actually a good foot high. A bit too big to dangle from your backpack, although the one guy looks like he'd be quite willing to eat your backpack.

Speaking of bigitude, this is a sign that was evidently designed to be pasted on the sides of the trams at Dizzyland, advertising Stitch on their web site.

For whatever reason, Disney is auctioning off a bunch of them on eBay for cheaps, like $15. The thing's a good 3 feet long, so I'm thinking maybe I should paste it to the side of my Honda, to cover up some of the dents.

Date: 2004-11-14 10:37 pm (UTC)The Disney Radio advertisement is neat! I remember my mom used to con stores into giving us stuff like that for decoration. At one time we had a grocery display cardboard wagon in our basement!. All I have left are some StarWars ones I got myself as a teen.
