These are some odd little items.

They're gashapon type minis, and if you get all three in the Lilo & Stitch series, you can put 'em together to make a little Disney Channel logo island.

This appears to be one of three sets available in the series, which promotes the Japanese Disney channel.

You can also get a set with Mickey and Chip 'n Dale, or the Pooh characters.

What blows our little mind is the Coca-Cola logo you can just see in the upper right of the wrapper. Perhaps Coke is one of the advertisers on the Disney Channel. We prefer to agree with the conspiracy theories of our college buddy, Gwen, who always averred that that the world is being secretly run by the Coca-Cola organization.

The package back says that these collectibles are a "Coca Cola Original", so I think it's likely that these gashapon-type things were sold in conjunction with Coke... possibly also Circle K or Sankus convenience stores, since I think I see their logo too.

Hey I have a question for you. Off topic. I remember you posted some pics of a Blythe doll and I have been thinking about getting one. I was wondering, do blythe's wear wigs or do they have rooted hair? And also, is it possible to get one for under $100? Maybe a loose one? Thanks. :)

1) Rooted hair, but that doesn't keep fanatics from scalping and wigging them.

2) You can easily get a brand spanking new doll for under $100, depending no which one you want. They even sell a few Blythe dolls directly to the American market nowadays, like Mme. Rosebud (hope this link works):

You ought to be able to get a variety boxed J market Blythe dolls for around $75-80. Take a look on eBay. The thisisblythe.com web site is also really helpful.

I actually prefer the mini Blythes to the full sized ones, though I have a few of the big'uns, like Asian Butterfly and Candy Carnival. I blame [livejournal.com profile] igrrl for those.

But be careful, as loose Blythes have been known to devour small children!!

(Heh, just kiddin', [livejournal.com profile] blythou.)
