We believe we've just found Mr. Tiki's Halloween costume!!!

By the by, there is currently a Stitch ukulele going for 15,000 yen (US$150, more or less) on Yahoo Japan.

Now, back to trying to sort out this chemotherapy program....

basic help with yahoo, ebay, etc japanese sites....

How do you/what do you use to be able to search and read in english on those site?

Is there something I download to translate? Is there an english button on them? Is there a portal to another universe?

I'd love to be able to look on those sites just for fun :)

It's soooooo easy, even Pam can do it!

If you just wanna drool over, say, Super Dollfies, or Jenny, I have the links. If you wanna roam around, I'd personally recommend Rinkya's site, since they have built-in translation.

http://www.rinkya.com/

You just type your search term in English in their search box.

**WARNING**WARNING**WARNING**

Looking at too many Yahoo J auctions makes you want to *bid* on the auctions (which you will find is also all too easy). It's the easiest way to clean out your wallet since they invented smoking crack!! :-P

Hmmm. I don't think you have to sign up, but maybe I already did and forgot about it?

Here's a link for SDs:

http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/2084052787-category-leaf.html?f=&alocale=0jp&mode=1

It's kinda long, but that's because I've already fiddled with it so you can see little thumbnails of the dollies. Then you see towards the top and bottom right where it says "--50--"? It should be right above a little orange box that says "RSS".) That's how you get to the next page.

I found the picture on Yahoo Japan, so I'm not quite sure what the scale. That mannequin looks a *lot* bigger than a baby though, don't you think?

Hee. Some day when you're bored, you'll do a sketch of chibi Lain wearing a Stitch suit, and wonder where the hell you got *that* idea.

Hee. My very favorite dolly is the Coffee House Folksinger lain that [livejournal.com profile] nitasee gave me. I should kill a Stitch beanie and make it into jim-jams for her.

Have you seen the "Make A Friend" Stitch that [livejournal.com profile] twotone found at TRU? It's a Build A Bear knockoff that comes already skinned.

Unless of course, you *want* to kill a Stitch plushie. ^_^

it's a Kirigami. Gangjiros and Manba wear em! they make pikachu ones, and eeyore, gooft, mickey mouse, hello kitty, various animals.

Hey sweetie! So, is it like pajamas? I always thought "kirigami" as a kinda origami.

nope! Manba and Ganjiros wear them as everyday clothing, since they are already known for their wild makeup and amazing outfits.

the Kirigami is very popular amoung them, in facet [livejournal.com profile] pinklilpill *i think that's her journal*

Owns a Hello KItty one.

just consider it another odd, but wild Japanese peice of 'normal' clothing.

I think if you go back and check [livejournal.com profile] ganjiro, you'll find more kirigamis. also stitch is VERY populaer with Gals and Manbas. I'll have to fine these scans and upload them, some magazeins like Egg came out with special STitch stickers, and showed off Stitch toys and clothing.
