The People's Army

My officemate sent me this cool link. When there's flooding in China--not an uncommon occurrence--they call on the People's Army. What they lack for equipment, they make up for in manpower, exhausting work, and sheer bravery. Someone has collected a bunch of photos showing the People's Army at work, and contrasted it with images from New Orleans. I don't read Chinese, but there's a lot of interesting stuff to ponder.
