There are three different game cartridges, and each has five different varieties of puppy. Also, as you play the game, supposedly the puppy store gets more varieties of puppies--this I don't know about, 'cause I just started.
The game has un-lockable rooms as well. I'm curious about longterm playability. Could you share your thoughts after you've played with it for a few weeks? Thanks!
Do you have the Nintendo DS system yet? I really love the stylus play. I'm not a gamer, and I'm a Mac person to boot, so I'm always intimidated by having to remember to push "A + up + C" or whatever to get things to jump. This system is *extremely* intuitive so far.
Not yet. The plan is to get one when "Animal Crossing" finally comes out. But the recent price drop, the release of "Nintendogs" and "Advance Wars" is making it *very* difficult to wait.
I don't like overall design of the DS but they have some interesting games.
I've heard that each cartridge has a selection of "starter" puppies that you can begin with, but as you continue the game you can "unlock" all the different species.
At least two of my Transformers-acquaintances have the game already. I'm horribly torn on whether to lay down $200 just to get virtual doggies.
I have a mini schnnauzer names Zoe and she acts like stitch all the time. I half expect to see her bite her but and roll around in a ball. lol When she wags her little tail nub..so cute.
