Shoppin' for Stitchies.



We'll start with the Dizzney Store (Tikistitch's second home these days). There were a couple of new little beanies, including this guy peeking out of a jar of hot sauce.





Yup, you can find this dude at the Dizzney store.



And, yup, he actually smells like blueberries!

But, no, Mr. Hot Sauce doesn't reek of hot sauce. More's the pity.

Moving on to Swill-Mart...



Tip o' the tiki hat to twotone, as without her hot tip, we never in a bajillion years would've spotted this little guy peeking out of a nest of plush purses in the shape of various Dizzney characters.



Yup, the backy-packy really opens, for storage of more Stitchitude.

And may we add...



Tastes like chicken.

No, we still didn't win.

And still no Stitchie Kleenex.

But we will perservere!!!

I'm not too hot on the Stitches with teeth. Somehow they never come out looking very kawaii.

The berry one, OTOH, is...

Oh... do you remember what the other fruity fragrances were available, and with which characters? Just curious. Would honey-smelling Pooh be too obvious? Maybe he's tangerine-scented?

That's the Weird Detail We Mistakenly Left Out. I didn't see any other scented beasties. Blueberry was stuck by himself near the checkout counter. Maybe there are more pleasant-smelling beanie characters on their way. twotone said she saw other scented Disney beanies at WalMart the other day.

At Wal-Mart, they have much larger plushies that are scented. I again forgot to write down who has which scent, but:
1) They are all pastel-colored
2) Dumbo is the Blueberry-scented one.

I suspect they had Minnie in pink and possibly the Aristocats kitten (Marie, was it?) in yellow. Or maybe vice versa. They had pastel pink and yellow somebodies, and at least one of them was a cat.

Sorry I can't provide more details, but my brain's fried from the heat.

Argh. We were at the mall today, but I was too exhausted to make it to the Disney store or the Yankee Candle factory (apparently they have white taper candles that drip red wax for Hallowe'en). I can't believe I missed out on Blueberry Stitch!
