Last Wal-Mart trip, there were some large Disney plushies in child-suffocating plastic bags, allegedly with scents. I *thought* I remembered them having the same odd texture that Stitch has there, although I don't remember them wearing wifebeaters shirts. I distinctly remember there being someone from the Pooh family, and probably Minnie...
*wracks brain*
Possibly the kitten from Aristocats?
*checks E-bay*
Okay, it must be a different line, because the E-bay auction says it's 6" high.
I've seen Disney stuff at Walmart before, but as you say, it's inevitably Pooh characters, or Mickey and Minnie. But I harbored the remote hope that, given there's a new Stitch DVD at the end of the month, Stitch would invade middle America.
I'm wondering if "blueberry" Stitch is gonna smell like coconut.
Well, that particular Wal-Mart had two different Stitch plushies, so he is definitely making his mark! He hasn't quite reached the ubiquitous status of Tigger, Pooh, and Eeyore (no idea why Piglet and Kanga don't get as much loving) but he's getting there!
