We think from their looks that these boys might be idol singers of some kind. But we really have no clue. Is there a JPop band called "F4"?

Tiki, you really need to learn some basic Japanese reading/writing.

The backdrop is in Chinese characters, not Japanese.

I'm thinking this is not JPop but sino-pop. Maybe Taiwan or Hong Kong.

Hmmm. It's only the ones with multiple words. Check out "Pullip" or "Blythe." Seems like LJ just clobbered all the multiword tags. For everybody. $#%&@ LJ.

If you replace the spaces with %20 in your address bar it should work.

Good safety tip! Thankee!!

Except, the tags themselves (on the entries) don't work either. Do you have to go back and replace each and every one now?

Huh. I don't know. That's just what I read in a community, and I'm darned if I can remember which community it was.

Brace yourself: F4 is a real-life Taiwanese pop band, formed after its members starred in the Taiwanese live-action TV drama adaptation called "Meteor Garden," which was based on the Japanese manga "Hana Yori Dango," in which there was a group called F4. Though I don't think they were a band, but I don't really remember.

(Some of the members are currently starring in the Taiwanese drama "Zhan Shen MARS," based on the manga "MARS," which happens to be playing on my local international broadcast channel.)

Aha! HYD! Now it all makes sorta sense.

Except I'm still not altogether sure why the boys are posing with plushie Stitches.

I'm too lazy to read the characters, since my stylus-using electronic dictionary is broken. The first one is "star" though. And I haven't a clue beyond that.

Did I ever ask you if you were aware of what "boba" originally means/meant in Cantonese? *G*

You mean "boobies?" Oh, I have *terrible* luck with nicks! A German speaker told me my Yahoo address means basically "little fatty," and then when my Japanese teacher heard my email address was "chibi," she cracked up and said, "That's something you'd name a DOG!"

At least it's BIG boobies. Heehee.

Chibi would be a cute name for a puppy. :)

At least you're memorable, eh?
