Here's what the lamp actually looks like...





This lamp was offered by Dizzney Direct a couple years back. And, yup, we really really use it to read Harry Potter books and to keep us company when Mr. Tiki is out of town. Stitch is seen here surrounded by fuzzy Totoro, Target doggie, and a small selection of our 700 or so wristwatches.

How do you always have stuff I wanted? I tried to get my mom to buy me that lamp back when it was in the catalog but no such luck. :( I think they have a snow globe now thats similar.

Yeah, the snow globe is so similar, I wasn't sure whether it was even a good idea to purchase it. But, it does make noise, which is kinda cool. My friend who's a big Stitch fan didn't get the lamp, but weakened and bought the snow globe. (Or water globe, or whatever they call them.)

Also, Disney Direct puts stuff on sale *a lot*, so remember keep a watch on stuff you like, and maybe Mom will buy it when it's been discounted. I'm pretty sure the lamp was on sale for a time.
