We wanna go to Japan!!!

Raging Spirits is the newest roller coaster at Tokyo Disney Resort, featuring a full 360 degree loop. According to my sources, on opening day, there was a 5-hour wait for a ride, which is noteable even for the queue-loveing Japanese. The Laughing Place has some awesome pix of the ride while it was still under construction. It seems to have been influenced more than a bit by the Indy Jones movies.

It's relevant to Tikistitch 'cause, this being Japan, the opening of a new attraction occasioned the release of a ton of merchandise, much of it, for whatever reason, featuring our little blue alien friend. We've seen Stitch featured on Raging Spirits hand towels, thimbles, watches, keyrings, goblets, mugs, drawstring bags, bandanas, mirrors, file folders, cell straps, ID badges, plushies, purses, lanyards, and of course, the inevitable pins. We have been spending a goodly portion of the Tikistitch Retirement Fund on a selection of the above merchandise lately, and will report faithfully on our ever shrinking pocketbook.

*hop hop hop* I really want to visit Tokyo Disney Sea sometime. I went to Tokyo Disneyland as a kid, but I haven't been since they built Disney Sea!

Is there any way Disney could appoint you Stitch Ambassador to the World, and give you discounts on Stitch Merch?

I just love the *names* of all the DisneySea attractions: Raging Spirits, Mystic Rhythms, Temple of the Crystal Skull.

Sigh. I haven't even made it to WDW yet, though we used to go to Dizzyland a lot when I was a kid.
