Surprisingly, besides the FLCL dolls, this Fossil Clone Wars watch was our only purchase at Comic Con. We generally avoid purchasing Star Wars tchotchkes, as these are the provenance of Mr. Tikistitch, but rarely make an exception for especially interesting timepieces.

Even the discerning Mr. Tikistitch was impressed by this sweeet box.

Nice packaging, eh?

We've tried to get a closeup of the watch's face. It's got a neat 3-D effect, with Yoda in the foreground, then the hands, then Obi and Ani with sabers ready, and Mace in the background.

Even the inserts are Clone Wars themed. Fossil, we salute you! Although, this means we can never, ever send the watch in to be repaired. And, yes, after photography was finished, we immediately ripped the watch out of the box and slapped it upon our chubby, chubby arm. Now as we go about our day, we occasionally catch a glimpse of our wrist and squeal, "Eeeee, Obi-Wan!"

That is very cool.

Why can't it be repaired?

Oh, you see the second little insert, in the lowest picture? That's the card you're supposed to fill out and send with the watch when you return it to Fossil for repairs. But, the card has a cutie Obi-Wan picture on it, so I can *never* send it in. ^_^;;;;;

Surely they'll take a xerox of the card, if it's obviously their watch...
