But, remember that whatsis, that Vanity Fair cover a few years back with Ben Stiller and all all sexy-like? That was a good photoshoot. We liked it, precious.
P.S. ~ 'That blond guy' is the guy who played Borat, in his guise as a homosexual Austrian fashion reporter. (Showing here) I think this movie is going to be a must see for us ~_^
That was that fake-country comedy bit? (See, from BEFORE we had TV!) I avoided that because I knew it would irritate me since Kaufman had already been there, done that. (And undoubtedly did it better. I CAN'T HELP BEING A SNOB; at least I avoided it so I wouldn't end up with senseless diatribes?)
This one looks like it's coasting on the heels of Zoolander, but then... Zoolander was so awesome this will undoubtedly work. Fake fashion is the best sort!
Nope, I'm your friend who lives in a box. In a cave. In the land that time forgot.
The last "new" movie I saw was Coraline.
... which is something I'm hoping the not-having-TV cures; I've gotten really burnt out on movies and such from having it on all the time. Before, we used to still be behind the times -- but that's what Netflix is for!
(Probably won't end up renting Borat, though, because Kaufman! I just don't know if I can handle that particular character without getting too cranky.) Is his comedy more like Adam Sandler style or more like Ben Stiller style? I'm hoping the latter -- I never can deal with Adam Sandler. (I did see that hairdressing movie, since my sister was enrolled at Paul Mitchell at the time, so... we kind of had to rent it!)
That hairdressing movie? You mean Zoolander? (Best. Film. Evar.) Or the Adam Sandler one, Don't Mess with the Zohan? 'Cause, I've seen *both* of them. Yes, really. Zohan I found mildly funny in bits.
Adam Sandler I just find kinda goofy/dumb. I can see why a lot of people get irritated with him. I don't. I think it's because the women in his movies seem to be treated with respect.
I think you're a lot more on target with Cohen by mentioning Andy Kaufman. Only, some of Kaufman's stuff, I frankly couldn't see the point at the time, and can't see now. Cohen is a *lot* more scatological than Kaufman ever was, but he also always seems to have a point.
The Zohan one -- ZOOLANDER IS THE BEST FILM EVER MADE. NO COMPARISON.
Which, like I said, since my sis is a ~professional~, so it was funny in bits because of that... but I'm one of those people with a VERY low Adam Sandler tolerance, soooo... yeah. (I actually hate him less in films where he's not trying to be heel-arious, like the date movies and crap.)

LOL, GQ is certainly making with the sexy comedians lately, aren't they? Strangely enough, this one hasn't turned up on the newsstand at my store...Does this cover mean that the Bruno movie is finally coming out?! He's my favorite of Sacha's characters (for obvious reasons), so I've been waiting for this one a looooooong time.
Ja, Ja, Bruno ist coming! In July, I think. Actually, Bruno was the character I paid *least* attention to back when he had the show on HBO. We'll see. The Ali G move was kind of eh, but I thought Borat was awesome, so he's 1 for 2 in my book.
