Seriously my Mom called and told me what happened - I can't get in any tv channels, so I have to Torrent everything later. I've got a delay on seeing new stuff ranging from a few hours to the following afternoon - and I was like "LOL, no mommy. That's too ridiculous."* She told me to Google it. I wasn't going to. And so I Googled it and OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL HOUSE WRITER PEOPLE!? HE'S MY FAVORITE! I MEAN AT LEAST IT WASN'T WILSON, BUT I DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD BE. WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE TAKEN TAUB INSTEAD?! WHY?!
*My Mom likes being shocking. She's been terribly disappointed that we don't believe her anymore because we've known her all our lives. I also though she might have been getting me back for telling her that Bones was canceled and having her believe it.
I gotta admit, even though I adored Kutner, and unlike I guess the rest of the Intarnets, I'd ignored all the "Very Special Episode" hoopla, so it came as a genuine shock that someone got killed.... Anyways, when House and Wilson are together like Holmes/Watson, and House is speculating that it was MURDER, I did have a bit of fangirl squealies. (Hey, Kutner's Not!Dog didn't bark!) Even though I agree with Cuddy,that House is deluding himeslf.
I don't know....I don't think I can handle 21 pages (and counting) of comments...
Some how I missed the "Very Special Episode" hoopla as well. However, I'll give 'em points for finding new ways for House to disfunctionally Not Deal With His Emotions...like House decided it had to be murder.

I must admit, I got a lot of fangirl squealies when House was telling Wilson he suspected MURDER. Though I agree with you, it's just another way not to deal. I've never in my life had the yen to write fanfic, but I find myself insanely tempted to write a fic where House and Wilson go solve a crime or something. Especially if you could think up some contrived reason to send them to England! (I totally draw the line at Wilson sprouting wings, however.)
What? No Wilson as a fairy? Seriously, there's a fanzine out there that's got one of the characters in CSI: Miami sproutin' wings because...he's a fairy! Sparklies and all. I couldn't make this shit up. Okay, I could, but wouldn't. Really. It's much more fun to mock instead.
I can totally see House and Wilson in a Holmes/Watson pastiche. Besides, when you get right down to it, Holmes was just as much an arrogant asshole as House, just Victorian style.
