So, we were browsing the J auction sites whilst waiting for our GEE to run (this is how we spend the day, regressing to the mean) when we spot an image of a Mysterious Mystery item. What can it be???? (Japanese speakers: no shouting out the answer!!!)



Why, it is to prop up your cell phone! A marvelous Japanese style invention: something to do a thing you didn't know needed doing, and to do it with appalling cuteness!

But that's not what promotes this particular item to the highest heights....



For absolutely no reason, they have given our blue alien friend a smiley butt! Can you imagine the design meeting where this was discussed? "I have the greatest new item, but it's lacking something!" "Heyas, I know, Toshiro-san, let's paint a smile on Stitch's patookie!" "Ah, brilliant!"
