The cutest thing we've seen since breakfast

Hope everybody had a good and jolly Stitchmas.

Since we've been getting a bit lazy and slobtastic, this is our first new Stitch post of 2009. We'll try to make it up by adding lots and lots and lots of pictures.





So, the concept here appears to be The Stitchies of the Chinese Zodiac. Mostly, it's Stitch heads with little animal hoods, and also with little footies and tails. Pretty freaking cute.



Though, if you use them as keychains, you just have a little hanging Stitch head, which is also a bit macabre. As we said, this is a fine fine effort.



We also seem to be missing a few, as we have 10, and there are 12 animals in the zodiac. And, a few of these are a bit unclear. This guy is the tiger, and we think the first two are bunny and boar.



And, chicken. And, lest we forget, these were probably crane machine prizes. These are the kind of things that drive you crazy in Japanese arcades, because the smaller items are easier to get, but with these big sets, there's always one or two that get kind of stuck. Mr. Tiki can do it, but he has special Jedi UFO powers.



Can you tell this guy is one of our favorites?



This is a Stitch head as a Chinese dragon.



It's pretty spiffy! If we were really winning this in Japan (rather than buying off the intarnets), we'd totally be screaming at Mr. Tiki, "Win us the dragon, pleeeeeease Mr. Tikiiiiiiii!"



The next few we kind of had to guess. We're guessin' this is horse 'cause o' the brushy tail (avalonjones may be able to confirm).



...and monkey.



A Chinese friend told us that they have the same word for mouse or rat. Even though this is obviously a mouse. Like, duh, China!



The ram is another really cute one. We didn't get a picture, because we were late for work again, but he's got a kinda fuzzy little ram tail.



Oh, and this is without a doubt the best of the set!



Stitch is wearing a snake that's kinda wrapped up like a towel!

So, we think that means we still have to look out for Dog and Ox Stitch heads.

Aww man, I totally agree on the dragon. I see epic win.

Any particular reason why Stitch's monkey hood is female? I mean, look at the eyelashes! None of the other ones have EYELASHES!
