Special Stitchies

This Stitchie looks like he's up to some mischief!

So, basically, several of the Disney Stores in Japan have issued exclusive plushies like this one. According to the auction descriptions we've read (admittedly, through a translator) they are supposed to commemorate the "opening" of a new Diz store. However, we're pretty sure they kind of hedge it a bit, as a couple of these have been described as "reopenings." So, maybe they've been remodeling, or maybe they've just rearranged the shelves and wanted to celebrate.

Anywho, this guy, from "Kusatsu Aeon Mall" (as it says on his bootie) is obviously dressed as a mischievous Tanuki, the Japanese raccoon doggie.

If you've been to Japan, you've probably seen the statues outside noodle shops. Mr. Tanuki is distinguished by his giant straw hat, and giant, er, balls. Looks like they've given Stitch the first, but make him make do with sake bags instead of the second.
