So, I had my recurring school nightmare last night. I think most everyone has similar--mine pops up whenever I have a deadline looming, or, like today, a big presentation. It's been coming back for years, so it's pretty elaborate. I have a mental picture of the university where I'm enrolled, and I know I'm taking four classes, one of which (history!) I never attend, so I always forget the day it's held. I've also spent many years dodging writing a report that's due for dream math class.
Last night's dose was particularly fearsome, which means I must be nervous. It was the deadline day for the math class report. I was suddenly in imminent danger of flunking three of my four classes, including math. I had conveniently forgotten my locker combination, and even the location of my locker. The locker, of course, held all the notebooks with critical information vital to the success of my report, such as, oh, the NAME of the PROFESSOR (which I had also conveniently forgotten).
Anyway, as tension mounted, and desperation over the report took hold, I tried to thread my way through the now changed geography of Dream U in time for my class.
I suddenly had a thought. "Aw, hell. I'll just stop at the library and download something from the internet!"
