Mr. Tikistitch had to scuttle back to work last night, to retrieve a really important bag o' toys from under his desk.
Fortunately, our hubby works across the street from our favorite-est Asian grocery store! Alas, it was five minutes until closing. We'll never find the cleverly hidden dollie magazines at Kinokuniya in time, so we must instead make a mad dash for the candy racks.....
Rement! Since when does our local UWJM stock Rement cuteness? We grabbed sets o' cutness at random. We will make a nauseatingly complete report on the tininess within, in the fullness of time.

(OK, actually, we have NO FRICKIN' IDEA what these are supposed to be, and our brain keeps telling us that the kana spells out "Hot Freaks Commune," which means we've totally lost it, or else these are really supposed to be communicator devices of some kind.)

Date: 2008-03-25 04:00 pm (UTC)Just, as I said, there's a big Asian supermarket downtown here, Uwajimaya, and they happened to have them in the boxed candy section. It was kind of a surprise, as they usually don't have anything for the anime series I'm interested in.

Date: 2008-03-25 08:16 pm (UTC)That's very awesome - the closest thing here is a small Asian grocery store of sorts that sells Pocky and other Japanese candy! They did have boxed Stitchie cookies (I've seen the exact ones on your site)...mm-mmMmm. And a lot of crazy things dipped in Yogurt.
By the way, on the awesomeness scale - there's actually a UFO Catcher *at my local movie theatre*. A real, Sega, Japanese UFO Catcher! It's like a little slice of heaven! And, yes, it does indeed have a Stitchie that I wasted 30 bucks trying to get with no luck. *grumble*
