Religulous

Went to see Bill Maher's Religulous last night. Three cent review: if you think you're gonna be offended, you probably will be. We laughed a lot. And were pretty darned impressed by Jesus - he's working in Orlando now.

Beforehand went to local faux German brewery for dindin. We had dark beer. And the sausage plate, which came with two types of mustard plus mashed potatoes with saurkraut mooshed in.



It R good to B carnivore.

Also some idjit had evidently planted their big juicy wad of chewing gum under the handle of our theater seat, so spent a jolly evening scraping it off our purse & fantasizing about living in Singapore, where such matters are dealt with in a just manner.

It looks like it had a good opening weekend, so they might start showing it more places. FWIW, I don't think you'd miss much catching this on TV, we just wanted an excuse to go out and see something interesting.

I grew up in Singapore xD I find gum under seats and people spitting on sidewalks so offensively gross. At least you're conditioned to be able to ... handle it.

I'm usually not squeamish, but I get seriously disgusted by wads of used gum. If I sit down near where someone has left their gum, I will get up and change seats. I don't even want to *look* at it.

For the longest time it grossed me out half because I couldn't understand why anyone would do such a thing in the first place. I'm getting better. But I would move too, and probably complain to someone...
