About the Dyson, I wouldn't buy it.

A co-worker of mine has a part time job at one of the "big box stores" where they display various appliances, including the Dyson. He's had to test the various vacuum cleaners, including it and the Roomba and others ... The Dyson doesn't work any better than vacuums around 70-90 bucks.
