tiki's twits
Jul. 3rd, 2008 05:36 pmtodays twisted twittering:
- 18:00 Erik "Ponch" Estrada is endorsing McCain? You so can't make this sh*t up. #
- 06:42 Tried to watch How I Won the War w/Gus last night, but found it too damn annoying. Thought I'd watched it as a kid. #
- 08:36 How come every time I just miss a bus the next one is running insanely late? :-P #
- 11:41 Pretty thunder-ific electrical storms last night. Surprising because we usually don't get lightning with our rain here in the Pacific NW. #
- 16:06 Seen at hospital just now: disabled access button...on door to stairway. Hrm? #
- 16:14 Droooool.... What the J Disney store looks like right now:

He seems to still enjoy the 'spotlight'. We sometimes see him in infomercials for 'vacation homes' (where are these homes? they never really say - swampland somewhere perhaps). But the scariest thing? He showed up at the local community L.A.P.D. High School Academy for a tour (*how* long has it been since he was on Chips?) -- and a friend's daughter who attends said school said he was so popular on the 'tour' - they had to assign him a bodyguard.

Date: 2008-07-04 06:20 am (UTC)It was either last week or earlier this week that I saw an article online where the author had gone to Findlay, Ohio, and spoken to a bunch of folks there about Obama. A lot of them were like, "Wal, I dunno 'bout that Obama feller; mah neighbor says he was borned in Afriker, and Jake down at th' barbershop heered he's one o' them Muzlimz. He seems like a good feller from what I seed on the teevee, but I just dunno..." One lady said, "I don't know much about Obama--I just know we're not ready for him." And I wanted to just put my face in my hands and cry. It made me hate everything.
