Hello from Moldova

Convinced Mr. Tikistitch to dash into a handy internet cafe here, as we think it is cool to log in from a place we didn t even know existed last week. Saw the natural history museum. They have 10 foot high day glo evolution murals!

Oh, and we got linked by boing boing.

Another overnight train, and then we ll be in Kiev, where hopefully, we ll better be able to figure out the computer keyboard.

Your Moldavian expedition sounds exciting and fun ! I enjoy looking at your regular reports... Beware of the cash sucking vampires in tourist traps, though. Garlic cloves won't work with them, but malfunctioning credit cards usually do the trick ;-)

I turned down the opportunity to see the Maritime Museum in Westport, WA a few days ago. Then on the way out of town, I saw through their windows that they have WHALE SKELETONS. I weep.
