No, I'm hoping you would write that you you had a great birthday, that my fears of Vic's decline are completely misguided, that the decor is full of tikiness, that the tropical drinks are strong AND yummy, and the that the food is at least somewhat decent (I'll say this, even the food at the flagship Emeryville location was never great, but it was good enough.)

How do you manage to block it out? I only had to get the reunion email and it all came thudding back like a trainwreck. Thank GOD no one had video phones in those days, so at least there's no physical record.
