1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper, hopefully Star Wars or some other theme that will totally embarrass anyone who lacks sufficient Xmas spirit!

2. Tree--Real or Artificial?
I prefer the shiny pink aluminum Xmas tree--the farther removed from nature the better, but a certain spouse has been known to convince us to drag home a needle-shedder a couple times. They smell real good, but the needles stay with you for EVAR, you know?

3. When do you put the Christmas tree up?
Whenever we drag it home from the AIDS charity, usually on the coldest/rainiest day of the year.

4. When do you take the tree down?
*sigh* We always seem to miss the January recycle day and have to wait 'til February!

5. Do you like eggnog?
Ew.

6. Do you have a nativity scene?
No, but if we did, it would definitely feature Stitch or Darth Vader.

7. Favorite gift received as a child?
That horrible 70s style record player that "stacked" your vinyl albums in order to render them even scratchier.

8. Hardest person to buy for?
Mr. Tiki's grown-up relatives. Fortunately, since the advent of online shopping, he usually shoulders this burden.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
Mr. Tiki's eensy-teensy relatives. We could shop for kiddie toys all day and all night! Only, we inevitably end up wanting some of them for ourselves.

11. Mail or email a Christmas Card?
Mailed treeware cards, promptly on December 24th. Or so. Really, don't expect Squidmas cards from the Tiki's any sooner than President's Day.

12. Favorite Xmas movie?
Nightmare Before Xmas tied with A Christmas Story.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
About 11 pm on December 24th.

14 Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Totally. When people give us those horrible fruitcakes, they go straight back into circulation. We've also had a couple of things go to Good Will when people buy us scratchy wool sweaters.

15. Favorite food to eat on Christmas?
Just about anything that's bad for me! I picked up a terrible jones for gingerbread cookies from Mr. Tikistitch, but I also love frosted sugar cookies in the shapes of Xmas tress or snow guys, holiday Nestle Crunch bells, candy canes, and any kind of drinks spiked with rum or Bailey's.

16. Colored or clear lights?
Colored, and they need to flash in exciting patterns!

17. Favorite Christmas Song?
"You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch."

18. Travel during Christmas or Stay home?
Stay home!!! If we could go some place exotic and tropical, I'd do it, but travel inevitably means spending precious Xmas days off sitting in a snowed in airport waiting to visit cranky relatives someplace boring.

19. Can you name Santa's reindeer's?
Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen! Comet and Cupid and Donner (though I can't spell it) and Blitzen! And Rudolph! And Olive!

20. Angel or Star on Tree top?
Neither. We usually have the top half of Darth Maul.

21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning?
Neither, actually, as soon as I possibly can! Oooo, I hate wrapped presents more than *anything*.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?
Waiting to open presents. I wanna see what they are!
