ahhhhh! we saw one nearly that size, but it was at a stoopid claw-machine place where, in our world, we never ever win stuffs like that.
thank you so much for your tips on internet useage and whatnot. japan was great (even though we couldn't find any really good stitch stuff - it was almost all stuff you'd already posted!) and you're right - they have some amazing stitchy goodness.
We saw some HUUUUUUUUGE plushies in the claw machines--ones as big as me. I'm still pondering how to get one home in case we ever get back. Did you get to Tokyo Disneyland?
