We *heart* Lilo!!!

tikistitchSQUEEEE!!!! Look what we got today...
But first, a story. Late Friday night, Mr. Tikistitch brought home from our mailbox place, not the expected delightful package full of ceramic Stitchiness, but rather a grumpy postcard from a mailing company. What can BROWN do for you? Well, not much, or so it seems. Yes, the mailing address that was good enough for the ol' US Postal Service to deliver said postcard was not sufficient for the high standards of the United Parcel Service. They turned up their nose at our too shabby mailing address, and insisted we show up in person, bearing ID, to be reunited with our goods.
So, given that UPS don't work weekends, after 72 hours of waiting and biting our editorial fingernails, as Monday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm dawned, we fired up the Tiki-mobile and pointed her in the general direction of Seattle's Scary Industrial district. Where is the Industrial District? Good question. It begins somewhere around where the Kingdome used to be (before it got blowed up) and continues over several miles of unused railroad tracks. We attempted to scurry around the copious semi trucks, and, after only 3 or 4 (or 5 or 6) wrong turns, managed to locate the UPS warehouse.

This is the counterpart to Cosmic Kahuna Stitch. She's adorable!! Here's a view from the side. You can see she's got Scrump too!! Her hula skirt is real fabric of some kind.
